The Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse
To enhance the states' and provinces' outreach efforts to locate lost owners,, a national database, was established in November 1999 by the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA). enables owners to perform comprehensive searches for lost assets required by law to be turned over to the states and provinces., its contents and related services are operated by a line of business within Xerox called the Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse. The Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse has been providing unclaimed property solutions to governments since 1984.
